Adoption Resource Coordinator
 |
A full-time Adoption Resource Coordinator serves as an advocate & liaison for adoptive families, helping them to identify, locate and access information and resources. The Coordinator maintains information on Nevada resource agencies and organizations, service providers and informational topics of relevance. In addition, the Coordinator provides support and advocates for the development, expansion and/or improvement of services for pre- and post-adoptive families.

Lending Library
The Nevada Office of The Adoption Exchange maintains a lending library containing materials relevant to foster care and adoption. Materials include books, CDs, DVDs, videos, booklets and pamphlets. Topics cover areas such as Adoption Procedures & Law; Special Needs Adoption; Attachment; Grief, Loss & Healing; Parenting Tools; ADHD; Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and much more!

Materials are available to members of the Las Vegas/Clark County area to check out for 3 weeks at no charge. The library is open during our normal business hours. If you live outside this area please contact the Nevada Office to inquire about alternative check out options.

Newsletter
The Nevada Office publishes a semi-annual newsletter, Making Connections, that features current foster, pre- and post-adoptive resources as well as stories of interest to foster or adoptive parents and professionals.
All Clark County licensed foster care and adoptive parents should receive a copy automatically. If you would like to sign up to receive this newsletter by email or contribute information, please contact our office.
