Project Coordinator

Albuquerque, NM

The Adoption Exchange announces the opportunity for a full time position: The National Resource Center for Diligent Recruitment (NRCDR) Project Coordinator. This position will be based in the Albuquerque office, but we will consider working from home in other locations.

Responsibilities of this position include:

Providing administrative support to the staff and consultants of the NRCDR, including (but not limited to):
  • Assistance with scheduled meetings and arranging logistics (both in-person meetings and conference calls / webinars
  • Typing and proofing of documents
  • Making traveling arrangements as requested
  • Processing contracts and invoices
Managing the timelines for tasks and activities for NRCDR deliverables, including but not limited to:
  • Preparing the master schedule of tasks and responsibilities
  • Sending regular reminders of upcoming deadlines and deliverables
  • Ensuring deliverables meet requirements
Managing webinars for clients and other parties, including scheduling, providing technical assistance, assisting with production and promotion

Maintaining the inventory of supplies and equipment for the technical assistance delivery, conferences or general promotion

Technology resource for staff and consultants, proactive about researching and implementing new technology solutions that fit a virtual work place, responsible for technology needs at conferences

Providing logistical and administrative leadership for special events including booking conference and hotel space, preparing and distributing materials, making travel arrangements, ensuring a high level of customer service to consultants and staff

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • BA Degree or 5 years administrative or executive assistant credentials
  • Experience working with limited supervision
  • Meticulous organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and social media
  • Excellent communication and writing skills

Position Title
Family Resource Coordinator

The Adoption Exchange announces the opportunity for a part-time contract position: Step Up! Diligent Recruitment Project Family Resource Coordinator for San Miguel County, New Mexico, reporting to our Albuquerque Office.

Responsibilities of this position include working with the foster parent community to recruit and retain foster and adoptive parents.

Duties include recruiting and supporting prospective foster and adoptive parents and families as they work towards licensure, developing retention plans, conducting monthly meetings, and providing follow-up. Duties also include working with community groups and organizations to promote the program.

Requirements:
  • Must have experience in foster care and/or adoption.
  • Familiarity with the diversity of cultures of New Mexico is essential to this position.
  • Ability to utilize e-mail, computers and software for writing and data collection.
  • Ability to develop training and plans for families.
  • Ability to work with community leaders/stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated documentation, follow-up and customer service skills.

  • Organizational and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of existing community resources for families.
  • Knowledge regarding child development.

Program Specialist

Location
Aurora, CO

The Adoption Exchange is seeking a Program Specialist for our Aurora, Colorado office.

Do you speak fluent English and Spanish? Would you like a part-time, flexible position working with families who want to adopt? If you answered yes to both of these, this job could be for you! This position will be based out of our office in Aurora, Colorado and can vary in hours from around 5-10 hours per month, depending on the families’ needs. The Program Specialist will work out of their home to assist by contacting Spanish-speaking families to provide adoption information and to connect the families with adoption resources.

Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required
  • BA in Social Work or related field required
  • Experience in adoption or child welfare required
  • Expertise in providing customer service/family support
  • expertise with Microsoft Office, Excel, Internet Explorer, as well as excellent communication and writing skills
