A Day For Wednesday's Child - April 8, 2015

Meet This Year's Featured Children and Families

Meet Izzy (ID #120500)
Izzy 9206 web.jpg
Inquire on Izzy

Izzy is a great girl who has been described as sweet-natured with a kind heart and an exploring personality. Currently interested in gymnastics and twirling, Izzy also enjoys singing, dancing and painting. The color pink and getting manicures make this fashionable pre-teen smile, as does listening to Justin Bieber! Izzy is an affectionate child who responds well to trusted adults.

In the sixth grade, she can bond with both adults and other children. Izzy needs support in school, does well in a one-on-one setting and prefers to do homework with the teacher rather than with peers. It is unknown at this time whether she will need assistance as an adult, but a fantastic life is a possibility for her!

The caseworker prefers a two-parent family where she can be the only child; however all family types will be accepted. Izzy is in need of a loving and patient home that can provide the support needed to thrive; we are seeking open parents who are willing to accept Izzy and provide the guidance and nurturing needed from a family. Izzy hopes to remain in contact with previous foster parents and mentor.

Meet Nathan (ID #113211)
Inquire on Nathan

Nathan is a kind guy with a real sense of adventure. Dancing, listening to music, and playing video or computer games is how he likes to spend his days. He gets along well with his peers and loves playing sports - especially football! When not tossing around a pigskin, you can often find him drawing.

An eighth grader this year, Nathan performs well in school and enjoys reading and art. Positive male role models are an important part of his life, and he thrives when there is order in his surroundings. It is not known if he will need some assistance as an adult, but he can have a wonderful future! Nathan has siblings with whom he would like to maintain contact. All family types will be considered.

Meet Renee (ID #118187)
Inquire on Renee

Meet Renee, a charming and affectionate teen whose number one goal is to find a family of her own. A talented artist, she is happy drawing and making art projects. Cooking is also tops on her list of favorite activities. This young girl strives to please the adults and peers in her life and relishes attention from her caregivers. She is creative and loves giving hugs, smiling and laughing.

Renee is in eighth grade. One-on-one interaction offers an environment in which Renee particularly thrives. She would do best in a two-parent household; however, all family types will be considered by her caseworker. A family who can offer patience and lots of attention would be ideal. She has a sibling with whom she remains in contact.

Meet The Netzel Family

Chris and Robin Netzel decided to adopt after years of prayer and research. When they learned how great aneed there is for families willing to open their doors aswell as their hearts, their family began the journey ofadopting through foster care.

Chris and Robin arepassionate about adoption and strongly believe inspreading the word that there is NO unadoptable childand every little person needs and deserves a family to welcome them into their home.

After adopting three littles ones themselves, the Netzels enthusiastically recommend adoption to individuals who believethey can play this critically important role in the lives of these little hearts and minds.
