Information

Many children are in the custody of the Missouri foster care system and are eligible and waiting for a permanent home.

The children who wait are the survivors of abuse and neglect. They are school-aged children, brothers and sisters, children of color and those with disabilities. These children live in a series of foster and group homes. There they wait. They hope for the stability and love of an adoptive family.

The faces of the children featured in the Heart Gallery tell incredibly compelling and highly emotional stories.
