Information

Many children are in the custody of the Utah foster care system and are eligible and waiting for a permanent home.

The children who wait are the survivors of abuse and neglect. They are school-aged children, brothers and sisters, children of color and those with disabilities. These children live in a series of foster and group homes. There they wait. They hope for the stability and love of an adoptive family.

Utah Heart Gallery

 Utah Heart Gallery

A picture is worth a thousand words!

The Utah Heart Gallery, in partnership with UT DCFS, is an unique exhibit combining the talents of many professional Utah photographers to reflect the personalities of foster children waiting to be adopted. What is even more unique about the Heart Gallery Utah exhibit is that the pictures showing the children and teens at their best were taken and donated by the photographers. Portraits of 20 children are on display.
