Chief Financial Officer (Colorado)
We are at an exciting point in our evolution – rapidly growing and innovating, with many growth projects on the table. Our next Chief Financial Officer will be a core piece of that growth – mixing strategic thinking with roll-up-your sleeves accounting and finance skills, change management acumen, and the ability to take the lead on special projects that might include items such as real estate thinking or branding.
The Chief Financial Officer reports directly to the Executive Director and is a key member of The Adoption Exchange executive team. The Chief Financial Officer designs, directs, and executes comprehensive financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting systems and acts as a key strategist within the organization.
This skilled and visionary leader is highly adept in all facets of financial management and reporting and has the ability to lead and drive strategic change and progress. They have a proven track record of balancing a long-term and holistic strategy with tactical execution. This leader must build on The Adoption Exchange’s past financial success and strong systems, to continue to improve our financial strategy and execution. They thrive as a highly efficient and organized multi-tasker who is able to strategically manage and lead a team while managing a myriad of initiatives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment spread across multiple states. The Chief Financial Officer will interface closely with all Adoption Exchange staff and members of the Board of Directors.

Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Recruiter (Colorado)
Reporting to the Recruitment Director, the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Recruiter will connect children who wait for permanent homes with families who wish to adopt by implementing and coordinating effective recruitment, matching and support services for a caseload of 15-25 children. The Recruiter will follow a child-focused, evidence-based recruitment model. The Recruiter will also be responsible for building relationships within the community and raising awareness and education about foster care and adoption.
